From where did you buy it..............? if it's 100% than it should not ask for password when you switch it ON

 Does the serial # of the unit match the serial # on side of the box? Call Autel Support immediately  with the serial # and see if the unit had ever  been registered before and then returned for a refund.

 Yes, they all do this, Put your finger on the lock and slide it to the right to unlock it. I think there are 3 possible locking/unlocking mechanisms, the default for a new tool is the slide to unlock. Good Luck !
